We have tested our products many times and have not experienced this issue, but want to warn just to be safe. All products from Paisley and Faith are handmade and in small batches. Because of this, appearance may differ slightly with each batch.

Coconut oil contains nourishing fatty acids that help hydrate and protect skin. These include linoleic acid (vitamin F), which helps skin retain moisture, and lauric acid, which has antibacterial properties.
Baking soda has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Citric Acid comes from citrus fruits. It has astringent and anti-oxidant properties. Citric Acid Exfoliates to rid skin of dead cells, promoting exfoliation. Helps to unclog pores. Targets the skin's hydrating support matrix to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Helps to even skin tone. Helps to brighten, soften and smooth the skin.
Activated charcoal effectively cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, removes deeper impurities, and dead skin cells. The result is smooth, supple, and even-toned skin. Dirt, toxins, heavy metals, chemicals, and other poisons are attracted to the charcoalmolecules and washed away.
